2021 LITITZ CHOCOLATE WALK; A great success!
Thanks to the generosity of walkers, retailers, volunteers, sponsors, chocolatiers, Borough of Lititz, the Lititz Springs Park Board, and Lititz Kiwanis members, the 2018 walk raised over $86,000 to be distributed to various community organizations focusing on the needs of children.
PROJECT ELIMINATE: A Kiwanis International project working with UNICEF dedicated to eliminating Maternal Neo-Natal tetanus infections in third world countries. The Lititz Area Kiwanis Club has raised over $27,000 in the past five years to support the international effort.
ELEMENTARY STUDENTS READING PROGRAM
We have adopted two classrooms at Lafayette Elementary School in Lancaster. Members go into the pre-k classroom and read to the students. Students in both classrooms receive books at the holidays and at the end of the school year.
